Group 1

Announcing the first Two Week Intensive with Peter Graneis!

Say goodbye to struggling with speed and effort, and hello to playing scales with ease using the technique of using three fingers instead of two. Discover the power of p•m•i and learn how to take your playing to new heights.

Throughout the course, we'll explore the nuances of p•m•i versus a•m•i, and how to achieve the perfect balance between speed and power. It's important to note that this technique is not just about speed, but also about control, and we'll guide you through the process from basic movements to advanced exercises.

While scales played with p•m•i may make it impossible to play any simultaneous accompaniment, you'll be amazed at the new world of possibilities that will open up for you. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to take your guitar playing to the next level!

Hi everyone! My name is Jared and I would consider myself a beginner classical guitarist. I am brand new to ToneBase and this is my first intensive. I wanted to join this course because it seems a great way to improve some important right-hand techniques and learn along with the community here. I'm also a big fan of Peter; his performance of Villa-Lobos Prelude IV from Siccas Guitars has been a huge help for me in learning that piece. Looking forward to trying the exercises shortly. Best of luck, all!

  • Hi everyone, I'm Jason; super stoked to finally get my hands on the three-finger scales!!

My friend has been using the three-finger scales for a while, and he's been really happy and preaching about how awesome it is.

It's time to evolve into a SCALES-YAY guitarist!!

  • Hi everyone - I'm Andrew. I finished working through the grade system last year and trying to develop further as a player. I've been wanting to do more work with scales, and have never really done three finger scales, so I'm looking forward to testing this out.
