We proudly present the next tonebase Community Concert! 🎉🥳🚀 Again, the stage is all yours! In this interactive Livestream, we want to organize a virtual get-together where you can perform pieces for each other that you have been working on!
Answer via a reply to this thread in order to reserve a spot with the piece and its approx. duration. The choice of repertoire is totally up to you! You want to play an etude from some of the last community challenges? A piece you've recently worked on for an interactive class? Or something completely different? Let us know!

What do I need?
We are going to use ZOOM (←click to download) for the tonebase Community Concert. In order to have the best audio quality, you can activate the option to Preserve Original Sound, here you find the documentation on how to activate that. It's best to use headphones with when the Original Audio Option is enabled.

I don't know if I will be able to have a piece ready to perform by then. I will in Joshua Tree National Park for 4 days at the first of the month so I won't be able to attend the dress rehearsal. If I can decide closer to the date, then we'll see.

I would like to attend as player if the roster isn't yet filled. I would like to play Albeniz Asturias if possible. I don't see that there's a time limit; Asturias is about 6-7 minutes.

I like the idea but am afraid its for advanced to high intermediate players with experience in performing. Its not for just beginners who have not performed on that level or on a stage platform

peter hancock Hi Peter, we specifically introduced this opportunity to practice performing in front of people, this does in no way exclude beginners who have never performed on stage before!
This event won't be livestreamed nor recorded, this will happen entirely among the nicest and most welcoming tonebase community members! I'd recommend to take that opportunity as often as possible no matter your level!

Martin, I would like to participate in concert with Mompou, Prelude (and maybe Cuna) from the Suite Compostelana. It’s musically demanding, to play it in public is a challenge. Pity there’s no place left in the rehearsal. So, maybe I’d better sign up for the next concert. Is there a date for that one already?

Ashley (Ash) Lucero Apologies to everyone for not performing tonight. I saw the message from Emmanuel saying that the concert was postponed and now I've only just seen the msg saying Ashley would host- too late now to log in. Hope it all went well and look forward to the next one
