Hey Martin, I have a couple more questions about Brouwer's Preludios Epigramaticos. If you only have time for one, the first problem I have from No. 2 is what I need more help with.

In the vivace section of No. 2, I've never played this type of fast repeated pattern, so I'm not sure the best way to play it cleanly without running into problems with endurance, and how to lead up to the second and first string at the end of it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

In the rolled chord in No.1, it says to play the following d with 4, but I don't think that makes sense because there's no way to hold it while playing the following b. The entire piece is based on the alternating pattern of ringing b's and d's, so this would noticeably break that pattern. There are other ways to play that d, but I'm not sure which note in the preceding laissez vibrer chord I can release early to do it.

    Thanks for all the help.

I was looking at the recent Tonebase instructional video by Jakob Wagner on Habanera by E.Sainz De La Maza.  Beautiful piece!

In measure 2 (which repeats throughout the piece)  I'm having difficulty getting the "C" played with 4th finger  together with "D" played with 2nd finger to sound cleanly, while  Ab and Eb are held down.  The stretch is causing my pinky to be too flat  (not arched) and touching the 3rd string,  muting the sound.  My hands are on the smaller side, but that may not be the problem.

Any suggestions  on position, etc to make the stretch easier without aggravating my tendonitis situation?  Also , if the issue is flexibility with more "horizontal" stretch ability, can you suggest any "gentle" exercises for it?

Please open the PDF to see Bar 2.  The guitar should be tuned with 6th string to D, and 5th string to G.  Thanks!!

Hi, Martin, at measure 54 of the start of the B section of Prelude no.1 by HVL when the E major arpeggegio repeats, what RH fingerings would you suggest? If I reuse the ring finger on the high E using full planting, I'd need to mute the string. So, do we just pluck them from the air or can we do full planting again but then play the E with the middle finger (that'd be a bit awkward, no?)

The first ending of section B of Villa-Lobos Prelude No.1

I find the leaps from and to the harmonics problematic. Also, to what does "poco meno" refer? Tempo, dynamic, general energy of the passage?
