← ←  PREVIOUS LEVEL  |  NEXT LEVEL  → →

What to expect:

Level 6 contains pieces with more textures and intentional muting as well as further developing the position changes and scalar concepts introduced in the previous level.

Description:

Level 6 contains more complex intermediate repertoire. Though it builds on the techniques in level five like scales, advanced arpeggios, position changes, and finger independence, here you will work on these techniques in keys that are less idiomatic on the guitar. These pieces will often require more intentional muting and playing pieces with a variety of different musical textures.

Skills covered:

  • intermediate scales
  • shifting (left hand)
