Thomas Viloteau Live Stream (Dec 18) Questions / Suggestions
I got more awesome news, my friends!
Thomas Viloteau, the internationally renowned concert guitarist, GFA prizewinner, professor at the Peabody Institute in Baltimore, and good friend of mine will be joining us for a very special livestream!
He will be talking to us about his unique technique and fresh musicianship that have distinguished him from so many of his peers and allowed him to look beyond the traditional confines of classical guitar.

We are going to be using this thread to gather suggestions about things he might want to touch on, and offer you a chance to ask him your own questions!
- What questions do you have for him?
- Any particular area you would like him to focus on?
Forum questions will be answered first!

In his Tonebase right hand technique lesson, Thomas talks about the right hand middle joint being the primary driving force for plucking. Can you ask him to elaborate/demonstrate this technique and discuss how he came to the conclusion given many teachers describe the large joint as the primary driving force? (I tend to agree that there is too much emphasis on the large joint)

Matteo has a similar right hand position and technique to Thomas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WW2iLXlMBGA
