I promise you, I will do an interactive class at our regular time as well very soon 🧙‍♂️

I have 4 spots á 15min, sign up now!

Participants

This will be an interactive Livestream, so let me attach all the info needed for this exciting new tonebase LIVE format!

What do I need?

  1. We are going to use ZOOM for the interactive part of Livestream (the same piece of software that we have been using for the Virtual Hangouts). While it is not necessary to download the software, I would recommend it as it runs more stable as the browser version. In order to have the best audio quality, you can activate the option to
  2.   No.8.        Preserve Original Sound, here you find the documentation on how to activate that.
  3. It's best to prepare for that lesson to get the most out of it in the interactive part! So listen to some of our fantastic release on

How does this take place?

  1. Simply watch the Livestream at the time indicated in the Live Calender!
  2. At the end of the approx. 25-35min Livestream, I will share a ZOOM Link in the Chat. Click on that link, it will take you to our ZOOM Cohort Based Course
  3. In the Zoom Call, we will get into greater depth about challenging passages of that piece, we can discuss certain fingering possibilities TOGETHER and YOU can get a full masterclass experience if you decide to take part with audio and video (not necessarily needed, more on that below)!

As always, these interactive classes with our hosts are not going to be recorded!

  • Hi Martin,  Could I get your expert guidance to improve my playing of Jeux Interdits, first part with you - the tricky passage being the barre and stretch with pinky on the LH.  Time permitting maybe some stretches in part II of the piece also.  I will mark the portions and send it to you before the masterclass, if I can get a slot

    • Martin Attaching the music.  This is from the Tonebase class from Thomas Viloteau.  Measures 8-9 and measures 27-28 are pretty much a struggle; though the rest could use help too for stability of movements.

Hi Martin, Just wanted to clarify your times; 12 am is midnight (Moscow). Just wanted to make sure those in Moscow don't miss this. I'm afraid 1:00 am is not a 'functioning' time for me.

Hello Martin! If there is still room I would like a spot. I don’t know yet if having a session on my technique of tremolo and arpeggios on my study number 7 of carcassi, improving my ballet or Cadiz . How can I choose? … possibly my number 7 ? After the masterclass you did last Friday? Difficult to choose.

Martin a video from the study in case it helps for tomorrow. I played it slower than what I can do, I am trying to increase the speed to reach the allegro tempo. But I can ear the mistakes... let's see tomorrow. So excited about this opportunity!

Martin If there is no one taking the last slot. Maybe I can use it?

I'm currently learning Lob Der Thranen and can certainly use some feedback on fingerings (second verse - the fast passage)

but also have some challenges on a certain passages from Julia Florida (section A on how to make the tone more fuller)

and Sor Op 6 no 11 (the last 2 sections - mostly on fingerings choices).

So probably one of those 3. Which do you think will be better to maximise your 15 mins? Thanks!

don  I didn't play the Sor op.6 No.11, so if you don't really want to do it, I'd recommend either Lob der Tränen or Julia Florida.

I love both pieces very much, so I am happy with either one ♥

  • Hi Martin ! I would like to participate also! the time is perfect for me.  What do you prefer? I am working Granada, Recuerdos of course (never tired of learning tremolo) and the study of Sor N.6 OP6.  I need more relaxation to play... with chords and arpegios (tremolo inklusive). What shall we do Martin?
