Seeing Keys in Color

I absolutely do see the entire chromatic scale of keys in color. and numbers, days of the week, months of the year, and even entire centuries.  This is related to, if not exactly, the mental trait called synesthesia.   I've done a number of concerts about color especially on the guitar, and I discuss the notion of synesthesia and seeing keys in color. In one concert, there was a socially awkward teenager who opened right up when I mentioned this; she had thought she was just weird because everyone told her so.  She finally had a word to use to describe what she experienced. Synesthesia is the condition where the senses cross boundaries: you can see sound, hear smells, taste sound.
