  • Although I thought not to be able to participate in this challenge, I have realized that I am working ONLY with musica española !

I will share here my study on the RH "El abejorro" (what improves my tremolo also) done with iam. The aim (and not iam jajaja)is that "el abejorro" will make us crazy with his buzzzz, This requires a lot of work for my hands...All is difficult for me in this study, LH also and coordination also. Still a lot to work on. I play it here quick (for me) , with mistakes...but ..here we go.....

    • Nora Torres-Nagel wow, you’re keeping a good speed all along the piece with its different passages. It’s really hard, well done! keep buzzing…

    • Nora Torres-Nagel good work on this, tremolo pattern between 2 strings, not easy at all! AMI would definitely feel far from being natural, the original is about IMI... you know some people do really good sounding tremolo with IMI or MIM... fascinating.

Nora Torres-Nagel Wow another relentlessly challenging piece! Great job Nora. That kind of right hand technique would overwhelm me. Who is the composer?

    • Blaise Laflamme thanks Blaise! in fact I am playing iam...still inconsistent...but I am working continously on it. Yes! some people (Ana Vidovic for instance) plays the tremolo with im....not for me!!!!!! but yes it is fascinating to observe her fingers doing that and protecting the first string with "a".....glup!

    • Nora Torres-Nagel I liked that very much, Nora! That entire Op 6 is so wonderful, but so challenging. I have only played a couple of the pieces in it seriously. This one is very difficult in the left hand for me.

Nora Torres-Nagel That was great Nora. I've always loved that piece. I have played it in the past - you have inspired me to take it back up. TIt is a difficult piece, those 3rds are relentless!!! Great job. Thanks for adding this..

Nora Torres-Nagel Brava Nora. That's a tricky piece. I think that most of it is there. Look forward to another video with your progress.

    • Nora Torres-Nagel I love this study.  Knowing that you are fan of Carlevaro, have you seen the Chanterelle publication, Abel Carlevaro Guitar Masterclass, Volume I, F. Sor: 10 Studies?  He has a chapter on this study along with the score and his fingering.
