We’ll also uncover clever simplifications in the E major section that nobody will notice, along with practical tips for mastering the arpeggios, fingerings, and phrasing that bring this piece to life.
Whether you’re preparing it for performance, polishing your technique, or simply curious about Villa-Lobos’s style, this deep dive will give you tools to play Prelude No.1 with more ease, control, and musicality.

Sadly, my guitar lesson is just at that time - and we are working intensively on Prelude No. 1 no less! Hope you will post the livestream for viewing at a later date.

We collect our granddaughter from school just before this (UK time). I'm hoping she will be as interested as I will be :-)

I am really interested in going to the live stream, it may be a bit too late/ early if it is at 1-2 am for those in Sydney, will there be a replay to see?

Not sure if I can ask questions here after the event, but, I'll give it a try.
Can anyone tell me how the accompaniment should be counted and where the emphasis should be, it's written in 3/4 but it doesn't sound right if I play it as 3/4.
