Serenata Espanola by J. Malats
I would like to re-visit this old Spanish masterpiece arranged by F. Tarrega. The melody is beautiful, and although composed for the piano, it is very guitaristic.
I intend to take a fresh look at it with its various techniques including arpeggios, slurs, scales, etc. while trying to keep the melody singing.
Martin, if I connect my Focusrite with the pair of CM4 mics, how will Zoom handle left and right channels? (Obviously when doing a "recording," this is set up for stereo with Reaper.) Not sure what happens with a live Zoom stream since there is no DAW in the loop.

Barney what a fantastic choice, I'd like to play that piece myself at some point. But then again, I'd like to play every piece there is 😅
You can enable the original audio mode of Zoom via following these steps:
- Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
- Click your profile picture, then click Settings .
- In the navigation menu, click Audio .
- Under Music and Professional Audio, select the Show in-meeting option to enable "Original Sound" check box.
The Original Sound setting will be displayed in in the top left corner of your meetings . - (Optional) Select the High fidelity music mode check box.
- (Optional) Select the Echo cancellation check box.
- (Optional) Select the Stereo audio check box.
Here's the full documentation for that: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115003279466-Using-and-preserving-original-sound-in-a-meeting#h_7845b217-db22-44f5-9163-7978496d953f
Personally, I'd go for Mono in the concert, just to save some bandwidth for people with a weaker internet connection!

I have heard Pepe Romero telling a nice story with this piece : his mother at the age of 15 was waiting for the first time at her guitar teacher at home. When he opened the door she saw a very young guy...and she told him:" But you are the teacher? you are vey young!" , he answerd :" Yes but I am Celedonio Romero". He played this Serenata for her...and she falled in loved!!!!! It is not absolutely great!!!?

Hey Barney. I've just seen the post about the hospital. I hope you are doing well and sending my best wishes for a speedy recovery

Hey guys,
Thanks very much all of you for your warm best wishes and concern. I really appreciate it!
I'm home, but have not looked at my computer for a while. I'm hanging in there, while the testing continues with numerous doctor visits, etc.
