I'll start the first question. What is the best way to get faster?

For me I normally I add 10 bpm to the the original tempo I was at (lets say it was 100 bpm) ,after practice that for a while ,then I minus 5 bpm .So I reached 105!

So that way i goes up ,down ,up ,down ,not just shoot to the point ,which is hard.

Do I explain it clear enough ?

You do, I think.  For me, the metronome gets faster, but my fingers stay pretty much the same.

I'm not an expert here.  The only concrete suggestion I've gotten from my teacher is planting, which I hadn't done previously.  It trains me to keep my fingers closer to the strings so less motion is necessary.  That, and the metronome.

Hi Zee, the group is for anyone who already knows or is new to Carlevaro's «SoG» and interested in sharing about anything related to his work, or him. There's already a few sections related to specific topics you can post to, if you ever want to contribute or ask anything that's the place. This group is mainly driven by our Carlevaro's expert  and myself, feel free to join us there!
