I am also wondering about which day and the link. I did not find anything in events calendar.

Hey Barney, where did you find that information? I can't find it listed in any of the livestream calendars.

       After log-in and select Guitar.

On Left side of screen (vertical list):   select "Livestreams"

Choose "Upcoming Live Events".  You'll see it there.

For some reason, it is not showing in the livestream calendar...

Thanks Barney. I had never used that 'route' to get to the livestreams, only thru the forum.

Hi Ashley, I wasn't available to watch live , but just watched the replay.  did you Luthier advisors tell you that it was okay to use the Lemon oil furniture on French polished guitars?

One of my guitars has Lacquer and the other French polish...

That was a fun little presentation.  Thanks!

I thought so.  I've been told to use a clean damp cloth only on the body.  Interesting, they also suggested Walnut oil for the fretboard.  Not sure if you've ever tried that one.  Thanks for the clarification Ashley!

(or anyone else) ... how often should you clean your guitar with oil? Every week? Every month? Every string change? I do not want to damage the guitar by over-oiling it.

It's ok go use the oil on your fret board only when you feel it is necessary. its when yo start seeing the buildup. if you can't tell, or just want a routine you'll first have to establish how often you practice and perform. obviously the more you do both, the more often you'll need cleaning. as a professional during my peak performance activity, I might have to clean it once a month or every other month. so it can be stretched out from there.
