In this technique workshop, tonebase Head of Guitar Mircea Gogoncea will discuss the most often overlooked virtuosic skill of all, and why mastering it is the key to many right hand techniques - including fast scales & arpeggios. We will be looking at repertoire examples from the music of Villa-Lobos (Prelude no. 1, Etude no. 4), Clerch (Estudio de Acordes) and Tarrega (Estudio Brillante).

Would you be able to spend time on J. Clerch, Estudio de acordes.
This is an outstanding example of repeated chord movement for right hand and equally challenging left hand changes. Mostly it’s a beautiful expression of energy and deserves study. All your choices are excellent examples involving repeated movement covering various places in composition.
I will be traveling that day but hope to be settled for the session.
