Introduction to Harmonic Score Analysis

Understanding the harmonic structure of a work is an important skill to have, especially when interpreting Western Tonal Music. Learning how to do a basic harmonic analysis gives you the foundation to start thinking critically about what you are playing and opens the doors for future application to music that starts venturing away from these basics. This webinar is meant to provide you the basics for starting to do your own harmonic analyses. Arm yourself with knowledge!

Great stuff, watched it today, and your presentation was soooo nice, Ashley! Thank you so much for that!
Wish for future live streams: application of that knowledge about harmony on interpretation of pieces, e.g. on well known guitar pieces. Or in general: approaches on finding convincing ways of interpretation of a pieces (harmony, structure, melody, rhythm … )
