Half apoyando stroke

From recent Iliana Matos live stream. Still can't figure out what it is. She also mentioned to create a loud tone you push the string inside the soundhole, almost similar to what TY said during the 2 weeks intensive.  Normally I'll just place my finger where the flesh and nails meet and push my finger to the palm and let the nail do the pushing in. Anyone does it like what TY or Iliana suggest? And any idea what is half apoyando stroke? Thanks!
