The great maestro of the guitar, Pepe Romero returns to tonebase for another series of lessons on technique, musicianship, repertoire, and the most insightful listening exercise ever performed on tonebase so far.

In this cycle, whose first part will be released on November 19th, he will be discussing how to make melodies "sing" on the guitar, how to have a healthy relationship with speed as a component of one's technique, how to balance originality with artistic integrity and respect for the composer, how to prepare for a performance, and much more.

Perhaps most uniquely, we've asked him to join us on a most insightful listening exercise, and learned a great deal about how he thinks about music and what sets his musical philosophy apart, both as an individual and as a member of the classical guitar's most influential musician family. This led to some truly unforgettable moments with the maestro that I cannot wait to share with you.
