anyone knows how to transfer forscore to a new ipad?

I unfortunately had to replace my ipad and I'm now worried about all the notations that I've made in forscore. Does anyone has any experience transferring forscores to a new ipad? Thanks!

  • Usually it will just transfer over, I changed my iPad last year and it just happens as you have an Apple account.

    If it is backed up in the cloud it will restore when you set up your new iPad or if you have backed it up elsewhere it is easy to restore      Good luck

  • If you don't have a backup to restore you will be able to find a folder for forscore in the iPad file system. You could copy that over once you've installed forscore app. Don't know if it will remember any tags, composers etc that you may have set up

    Thanks! I managed to find the backup in the ipad file system. Hopefully everything restores properly when the new ipad arrives. I have a habit of creating new layers whenever i revisit score with new fingerings. Hopefully all these restores too.

    • don BTW there is an excellent suppport group for Forscore on Facebook.  Forscore Users Group has many expert users with lots of answers.   it's saved me several times.

  • Jacques had the answer AFAIK.  it should just transfer over.
