Gigging - The Hows, Whats, and Whys!

Hey everyone! Ready for another stream?
We are all missing performing publicly during the pandemic, but what if you never have or have little experience? It may be a bit overwhelming to take it on at first, especially due to the unpredictable nature of gigging.
In this stream, I will share my knowledge as an experienced performer about how to be best prepared for live music gigs whether they are background music or a special concert performance. What should you be sure to bring both physically (gear) and mentally (is it confidence?!) What music could you and should you play? How to maintain a healthy balance when things get rigorous? Why is playing publicly beneficial to us as players anyways, especially background music? All of these questions will be answered and then some as we cover the basic ins and outs of gigging as a classical guitarist.
I can't wait to explore this topic with ya'll and encourage questions to be posted here in the forum beforehand if you have any!

Hi, Ashley.
I can´t join today (still at work). My question for you is about gear: any advice on microphones and amplification in order to get a decent "classical guitar sound"?
Thank you very much.
