Looking forward to hosting him on November 15th.

We are going to be using this thread to gather suggestions about things he might want to touch on, and offer you a chance to ask him your own questions!
- What questions do you have for him?
- Anything particular area you would like us to focus on?
"In this workshop, American virtuoso guitarist Matt Palmer will be diving into topics of technique and musicianship with a particular focus on a-m-i scales! The workshop portion will be followed, as always, by a Q&A featuring live viewer questions. Learn the secrets of Matt’s “positively nuclear” sound, whose recordings display “stunning precision and unwavering accuracy enclosed in a huge dynamic envelope,” according to the Classical Voice of North Carolina."

I have Matt's method book on ami scales and in it he talks about doing a right hand stroke that's not quite a rest stroke and not quite a free stroke. If I'm remembering correctly he jokingly called it a "frest" stroke. Could you ask him to demonstrate and teach it to us?
If I am able to ask a second question it would be this: My weakness in doing ami scales is all in the right hand, I'm just not very good at playing ami very fast. Do you have practice tips for developing that or was it just a natural movement you?
