tonebase Community Concert!
We proudly present the next tonebase Community Concert! 
Again, the stage is all yours! In this interactive Livestream, we want to organize a virtual get-together where you can perform pieces for each other that you have been working on!
Answer via a reply to this thread in order to reserve a spot with the piece and its approx. duration. The choice of repertoire is totally up to you! You want to play an etude from some of the last community challenges? A piece you've recently worked on for an interactive class? Or something completely different? Let us know!

What do I need?
We are going to use ZOOM (←click to download) for the tonebase Community Concert. In order to have the best audio quality, you can activate the option to Preserve Original Sound, here you find the documentation on how to activate that. It's best to use headphones with when the Original Audio Option is enabled.

Khiem Nguyen thanks Khiem! let's see. I love this Preludio of Villalobos. I am glad that you participate also! and at 2.00!!! an additinal challenge! I hope one day to play our Recuerdos de la Alhambra ! By the way you could also!!!

Nora Torres-Nagel Yes, I also love Preludio no. 1 of Villa-Lobos. Being at 2am, I don't know yet how I will manage it. We do not have a great sound isolation so it is impossible to play at 2am and not wake the whole family and neighbor up. Haha. For the reason of playing at 2am, I dare not to reserve time for 2nd piece yet. Let's see how I can manage with 1 piece at 2am :)

Nora Torres-Nagel haha, you are absolutely right. Family and neighbors should have been grateful that I did not play trumpet instead of a guitar, hehe :D Maybe I could use this argument in order to ask for permission to play just this event (which is 1 time per month) at 2am :)

I would like to perform one piece that I composed recently: Valse no. 1 (4:00 minutes). It will be 2:00am in the place I will be staying at that time, so it is a bit tricky. I will update you to confirm my attendance as soon as possible.

Hi Martin. Just replied to the dress rehearsal. I'd like to play Frosted Waltz by Tatiana Stachak and Julia Florida by Barrios. About 1.5 minutes and 4.5 minutes so 6 minutes in total. I can drop the Waltz if this is too long. Danke

I hope all of you are already getting ready backstage for tonight's fantastic Community Concert! I am super excited to see all of your progress since the last Concert
As always, those events are not recorded, but everybody can come and watch, even if you're not playing! In fact, the audience makes this event so special, so let us cheer for each other and have a good time

Martin thank you so much for the opportunity, I was not nervous when I was listening to the others. Then when Derek played Julia Florida I started to get nervous and even blanked although I had played it so many times and went through it in my head every day. But I am very happy because I enjoyed the others playing, felt their worry, and this will get better little by little but all the time. This Christmas I played lots in front of friends and family! Which is new, so things are definitely changing… thank you so much also to all the people who was not playing but was there supporting us!
