Ah, that is a nice challenge. I recently started Julia Florida and the Cardoso Milonga. And if Eduardo Diaz is allowed I could throw a little Recuerdos or Ti Amo in.

Hi, group! Well, I have been working lately on recording H. Villa-Lobos prelude n°5. As I mentioned in the work group, this is the one I like the most and I am putting some ideas to work, mostly on different tempos and approaches, so I think I'll use this challenge as an opportunity to set goals and get feedback. I have not recorded anything but probably soon I'll send something,... a section if not the whole.

Looks like this will be a well attended challenge with a bunch of absolutely great guitar players. 👍

I will do my best to contribute and plan to dust off the Brower's Estudio 1 and will also work on the Estudio 2.

Hi, everybody! nice challenge! I'm listening many new things that i hadn't heard before! I don't bring anything new to the table but this is my most recent solo project and I appreciate very much you being part of it. So here's section C of the Prelude 5 by Heitor Villa-Lobos very fresh out of a couple of half hours of study, mainly fingers in place and mostly up to decent performance speed. Also, quite rough yet... but I expect I'll get there soon.

I very like how you play it! it's intense and posed at the same time, the chords are flowing naturally and the melody beautifully sing, can't wait to hear the whole piece! 👌💪

thanks so much for the comments! I'm glad you found this to your liking. Uploading here has been a huge help. I have already a set of things where I think I'll need to dig deeper. Having the opportunity to participate here sets a nice frame!

I'll be uploading the other two sections separatedly first, before I attempt a full version. Sections A & B are the ones most affected by an unusually fast tempo. I've heard some faster versions -curiously in guitarrist which are not in my list, such as Williams-. We'll see how you like them. I have always felt like VL had a private comunication channel with me regarding how to interpret his works...hahaha...

I really enjoyed this, Ariel. Like Blaise said, it has an intensity, but it still flows so nicely.

thanks! I like to think of this section in as much a Chopinian way as possible... still many things to work on yet. I figured I'm gonna take less breaks and transition more swiftly and more fluently from part to part. I think that'll be better yet...
