Hannah Murphy: Paris in the 19th Century - Sor, Carcassi, Carulli, Coste

Kick-Off for "Around the 19th Century Guitar World!"

This Week: Paris in the 19th Century - Sor, Carcassi, Carulli, Coste

Eric Phillips I see you're rubbing it in Eric.🤨Curse you dreaded Romantics! 😠 ( I actually have a lot of pieces to choose from - but I have to maintain my reputation. 🙄

joosje Not to worry, Joosje. Eric and Blaise enjoy taunting me mercilessly😪 because I have mentioned that the Romantic period is my least favorite musical period. Actually I very much like the shorter 'character' pieces such as Chopin's Mazurkas and waltzes (🤫). But I tend not to care for the larger works.
