Standard notation
Hello,
I have started my membership with Tonebase because I want to improve my guitar skills. I have been playing on and off for about 20 years. However I feel I have hit a plateau in many ways. Hence is why I am here. One of the things that is holding me back, aside from technique improvements, theory, among other things is being able to read standard notation. I have noticed that most of the lessons here are not in tabs. Is there a resource on this platform or elsewhere that can get me on the right track to learn to read standard notation? Thanks in advance

Hi Jorge, good to have you here! We ran a "Reading Music Score" series of Livestreams a while back, a tonebase Academy course that should cover all the basis of music notation!

Furthermore, we have this Beginners Course that goes a bit into notation as well while covering playing fundamentals (that you already have, but the notation info might help you!)

But in the end , you all won’t be including tabs in your lessons, correct?
