Bouncing back from a Break - Reuniting with your Instrument
Hey everyone! I'm going to be talking about returning to your instrument after a break in a stream on July 30th at 11AM PST. I personally have had many experiences where I was forced to take a break from the guitar. Thankfully, it has allowed me to take extra time to compose but it's certainly not ideal!
Whether it's been months or years, picking it back up after a break is challenging physically, mentally, AND emotionally. It's not only about starting to play again, but to also examine our expectations and identify patterns in our processes that may help or hinder us. Learn some basic groundwork for maintaining a healthy relationship with yourself and your playing. Join me as I talk about how to "start again" in a sustainable fashion, and about my first-hand experience as a guitarist dealing with injuries.
Feel free to post any questions pre-event here!
See you soon!

My life has gotten a little complicated lately. I listen to all Livestreams from the recording, and this is just about me !!. This is my fourth time listening to this and I still think you are geniuses. I am a guitarist with a lot of experience. And you keep teaching me so many new things. Sometimes I thought I already knew everything about the guitar. And in a moment (after a lesson like today's one), I learn that I know very little and - thanks to you - I do not feel guilty about it. If it was possible to award the Nobel Prize for your activities - you are the first in the queue! Mircea and Ashley - thank you for every moment spent with you!
