Bach: Jesus Joy of Man's Desiring / R Foster
I sort of backed my way into working on this piece. Martin had mentioned he was working on the David Russell transcription. I have the Rick Foster transcription (Parkening Plays Bach) and was curious how they compared. As I was looking at my edition I worked thru the first page and thought I might be able to work this up for the Ho Ho Hoedown (sorry - that's an American folk dance). I worked on the first page for several days and then started the second page. Oh boy! What did I get myself into. I have worked it up enough to play any particular section but not all of the sections continuously. Anyway this is what I recorded the day before the watch party but it wasn't acceptable to present for that so I am moving it here and will try to chart my progress (or lack thereof).

Keep on working on it ! It will become great at the end. I thought about to use this piece in the Transcriptions-Challenge.....Best Regards 🙂

Wow I want to learn this piece!!, it is beautiful!!! Please keep on learning it! Divide it in pieces perhaps and don’t advance until that each part is done. It is sounding good already , fuerza!!!
