Video(s) of the day/week/month

As someone who has yet to contribute a video to the ongoing challenges (I do expect this to change!) it's probably not my place to be suggesting this, but I'll do so anyways. It occurs to me that a nice feature here might be to have an archived selection of video highlights from the ToneBase community. These could be chosen independently by the ToneBase staff, or by such criteria as number of likes or views (if this is tracked). Perhaps there could even be something like a 'Video of the day/week/month' featured on the main page of ToneBase Guitar Something that would be highlighted, much as, say the live events are. I'm curious to know how our regular contributors feel about this.

    I like the idea, but I would worry a bit about how it's chosen. I would want everyone to always feel valued, never judged. I would want it to be more about variety, inclusion, and encouragement than anything else.

      Eric Phillips I agree, Eric, although I don't think the selection should be random. But most definitely, everyone should be allowed their moment in the 'limelight'. (Assuming they want it, of course - if a video were to be featured by ToneBase, the member's permission would need to be secured.) I think the general idea would be 'this is who we are' rather than 'this guy/gal can really 'shred'!.

      David Krupka Yes, maybe that's why a Tonebase Team choice might be the best way. Who knows, maybe it could even be posted onto the Tonebase YT channel (with permission, of course). Seems like that might be good marketing for them.
