Microestudios No.19
It's been a while since my last Microestudios upload. Today, I tried recording No. 19, but it was very difficult! There was a lot of movement and barre chords, and the tempo increased in the middle, making the whole piece very difficult to play cleanly. I tried my best, but I think this piece is beyond my skill level.
After recording No. 19, I looked at the music of No. 20. I've never learned to play percussion on guitars, so I don't think I can practice No. 20.😥 -
Here are two more of Carlevaro's Microestudios, No. 7 & 8. While I have played through 17 of the 20 studies over the years, I have now recorded 8 of them (No. 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, & 17) and hope to record many more by the end of the year. Also, kudos to Wai who has recorded 19 of the set. A very impressive accomplishment! Wai

24 years ago, today on July 17, 2001, Maestro Abel Carlevaro passed away in Berlin. As his assistant, Alfredo Escande has said, "We still have a lot to learn, from all he left us."
