I started classical guitar when I was about 20. I had been playing rock guitar for several years and decided to change. I had no idea what classical guitar was so, after signing up for lessons I bought a record (I go way back) of John Williams playing Bach's Chaconne. I remember thinking "Wow, I am going to learn That?!" I am still thinking 'Wow, I am going to learn That!!'
30 years ago I attended graduate school in Music History at U of W. My guitar playing has ebbed and flowed over the years, but now that I have retired, I am determined to devote much more time to it.

@Eric Phillips That's a scary thought - me doing Rap or Country!!!! or anything vocal.😳 BTW I actually think my struggle with much of the Romantic catalog is my loss.

@Olli That was great Ollie. This piece is deceptively difficult. It flows so gently but requires constant legato despite the many shifts and changes. Great job!
