I started classical guitar when I was about 20. I had been playing rock guitar for several years and decided to change. I had no idea what classical guitar was so, after signing up for lessons I bought a record (I go way back) of John Williams playing Bach's Chaconne. I remember thinking "Wow, I am going to learn That?!" I am still thinking 'Wow, I am going to learn That!!'
30 years ago I attended graduate school in Music History at U of W. My guitar playing has ebbed and flowed over the years, but now that I have retired, I am determined to devote much more time to it.

Op 25 4th Variation complete This is the 4th variations played slowly. It is rough but it is mostly intact. Hopefully it will continue to improve and increase in tempo.
