Re: Group 1
@Martin Super analysis and diagnosis, Dr. Martin! You just pinpointed all of my issues, and before this week, I had no idea they were issues.

@Martin Great, thank you. I did notice that you play that chord in first position the first time. I just find doing them both up higher to be much easier.…

Re: Group 1
I decided to make a recording of Ernesto García de León’s Padre e Hija. It's a great study in slurs and a-m-i arpeggios. Bill Kanengiser's lesson on this study is highly recommended.

Re: Interactive Masterclass with Martin Zimny
@Martin Okay great. Then I’d like to participate. I’ll play Sor’s Andante Largo Op 5 No 5. An unfingered score is attached. Would it be helpful to you if I gave you a version with my fingerings?

@Martin Thanks, Martin. I have not played any of the VL etudes before (except No. 1, but just the arpeggio pattern, not the whole thing). They are all just so darn difficult!…

@Martin Thanks, Martin. Yes my pinky definitely goes flat. That's my weakness, I can see, so I need to work on it. Good to know you don't shift exercise 4 around! That makes me feel better! 🙂
