Geriatric hippie. Got my first guitar in 1962, took my first classical lesson in 1970. Started teaching guitar in 1971. I continue to split my attention between classical, jazz, and steel string fingerstyle. I retired from my last college teaching position in 2017 but continue to teach privately. I perform more now than when I maintained a busier teaching schedule.
